About Qaf Community Development

Young people from Zarqa who chose to stand by others.
Qaf Community Development is a conscious, youth-led development organisation that aims to be the first destination for active young people who take initiative. It draws on our cultural heritage and national community values as the foundation for its ideas and community work. It raises youth and human awareness, moves beyond stereotyped thinking, and offers a development model that connects people to their community and respects its moral values.
The association contributes to national and community efforts by empowering young people, developing their abilities and skills, and building a culture of volunteering, while supporting orphans, families in need and those with the fewest opportunities, and launching quality programs in partnership with community organisations.

Providing material support and guidance to families in need, orphans and those with the fewest opportunities, in a spirit of ihsan and personal responsibility.
Quality programs and partnerships
Launching quality programs and volunteer activities in active partnership with community organisations for lasting impact.

Grounded knowledge and independent thinking
Building critical, questioning, evidence-based minds in young people, and tying development programs to community needs and national values.
Honesty, quality and commitment to values
Rooting honesty with oneself, society and principles, and committing to social justice and quality services without discrimination.
Community leadership that turns ideas into reality
Supporting young people who take initiative, and turning ideas into real programs in education, upbringing, the economy and volunteering.
Empowerment, partnership, sustainability
We follow a connected path that begins with empowerment, passes through partnership and commitment, and leads to sustainability and reach. We develop people's abilities, review our initiatives against our ethical and national standards, and build partnerships based on honesty and trust so initiatives last and their impact grows.
Empowerment
We start by building awareness and skills and creating opportunities that help people, especially the young, take part and take responsibility.
Partnership
We work with organisations and individuals on trust, honesty and commitment, and review our initiatives against community needs and our values.
Sustainability
We build initiatives that can continue, and widen their impact through cooperation, responsible planning and shared expertise.
What guides our work
We are clear and honest in how we work, and build trust with the community and our partners.
We carry out our duties faithfully and competently and own the results of our work.
We open the way for young people to lead initiatives and turn ideas into action.
We do volunteer and development work with excellence and stay true to our principles.
We work for positive, long-term impact through initiatives that last.
We look for distinctive solutions and programs that open new horizons for young people and the community.
Partnership widens the impact
We invite partners, people who care about development and community work, and national institutions to build bridges of cooperation and active partnership with us, to help empower young people and build a better future for our community.
